Are you a current Lecturer-Digital Media looking to work in a supportive, forward-thinking college?

We're recruiting for a Lecturer-Digital Media to join our team on a fixed term basis for 3hrs/Week x 7 Sessions over the year to 04/07/2025.

The salary scale for this hourly-paid role is £13.29- £23.21 per hour inc London Weighting.

The Role;

To work with our Technical Trainers to help deliver and assess various subjects within digital media including game design, 3D modelling, game development and film.

You'll provide inspiration, skill and practical experience to students across our department's courses. You'll also contribute to the development of our course offer, building on our innovative provision.

Key responsibilities of our Lecturer-Digital Media ;

• Plan and develops lessons, including the development of schemes of work
• Develop and implement learner-centred assessment methods, with focus on constructive and development feedback for our students
• Encourage, monitor and report on the attendance, progress and achievements of students
• Ensure safe working environments for students and colleagues, enforce health and safety standard in your area, ensuring all students understand and comply
• Undertake personal coaching and pastoral responsibilities for designated students in order to support them int heir own development and future progression
• Keep abreast of industry developments in your specialist area to ensure the relevance and continued employability of our students
• Actively participate in continuing professional development around theory and practice within the education sector

Our ideal Lecturer-Digital Media should have the following qualifications, skills and experience;

• Hold a teaching qualification and have experience of teaching in the Further or Higher Education sectors
• Have a degree or equivalent qualification in a subject relevant to the courses delivered in creative
• Have a Level 3 qualification in the subject relevant to the course to be delivered
  
• Have recent and relevant experience of teaching the subject to learners from Level 1 to Level 6 higher education
• Ability to deliver excellent teaching, learning and assessment pedagogic practice

All applicants should have good administrative skills and be able to accurately track students' attendance, progress and achievements.
