The SocialSciences are a well-established and growing area at Paston Collegewith a good history of achievement and success. The successfulapplicant would be expected to take lead in the planning, deliveryand assessment of the Criminology Diploma as well as Sociology Alevel delivery. The social sciences are our most popular subjectsin terms of student numbers with almost a third of all A levelstudents studying Criminology alone. The successful candidate wouldbe part of a very supportive and collaborative team of Psychologyand social science staff. Students can combine these subjects withany of our other 26 subjects creating a broad and varied studentbody.
Participating in promotional events such asopen evenings and taster days and liaising with stakeholders,including parent evenings are also key functions of therole.
