We have an exciting opportunity to join our Animal Management team to course-lead, plan and deliver on our Animal Science course which starts in September 2025. This course offers students wishing to enter the animal veterinary and science sector a more dynamic opportunity to study the theoretical components, whilst developing their practical skills in our Animal Management Centre. Our students are taught essential and advanced skills by industry specialists and will also complete invaluable work experience placements.
Delivery for this academic year includes animal biology, animal nursing, and nutrition, as well as course leadership of our Level 3 extended Diploma in Animal Management.
We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced individual to deliver across our Animal Management provision. In particular, we are looking for an individual with experience of working in a veterinary environment and is confident with teaching subjects such as microbiology, genetics, animal biology and chemistry.
Applicants should have a degree, or higher, in a relevant discipline as well as professional experience in a relevant field. Ideally applicants should be a qualified teacher or, if not, have the commitment to obtain an appropriate qualification.
You will be responsible for the teaching, development and planning of the curriculum area and implementing strategies for the delivery of an effective, high-quality curriculum.
