Lecturer in Business will include: To contribute to the development and delivery of all our Business courses To contribute to high-quality learning experiences using a variety of teaching and learning methods based on current best-available practices, including Internal verification. To create an outstanding student experience which leads to progression or employment To provide academic and pastoral support to students in accordance with agreed procedures To participate in the Colleges appraisal process and to undertake any training that may be appropriate. To provide student progress reports for parents/carers and employers as appropriate As our Lecturer in Business , youll ideally have:
Level 2 (or equivalent) English and Maths Teaching Qualification or willingness to achieve within 2 years Graduate in relevant subject area Minimum Level 3 or Graduate in the relevant subject area, such as L3 BTEC Business/ BA in Business Vocational expertise within Business, Finance and Marketing Competent in Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of requirements of examining bodies such as Edexcel (Pearsons) and City & Guilds for L1-L3 Business courses Communication skills including written and verbal Excellent organisational skills Focused on team working The ability to teach students of all ages Proven ability to plan and organize own workload Benefits you will receive
