Our client is looking to appoint a Lecturer to join their Vocational and Technical Studies School. As a Lecturer in Digital & IT Skills, you will deliver outstanding quality teaching, learning, assessment and tutorial support to students to maximise achievement and continuous improvement. The role plays a key role in supporting the development of the curriculum with employer engagement and learner skills development.

They are looking for someone who holds a degree or relevant professional qualifications in an appropriate subject and has recent teaching experience in Digital & IT Skills in an FE College. You will show strong evidence of outstanding teaching, learning and assessment and effective employer engagement in curriculum design and delivery. With a successful record of tutoring and supporting learners, setting and implementing target setting, monitoring and reviewing progress, you will have strong working knowledge of current framework for teaching, learning, assessment and quality assurance.

Able to work under pressure and to strict validating body deadlines, you will be an effective verbal and written communicator in both group and interpersonal situations with the ability to use initiative, organise and prioritise.

The successful candidate will be eligible for any increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost of living review that is due to be implemented imminently.
