Lecturer in Education: Early years and SEND

About the Role

This is permanent, part-time role (0.5FTE), 17.5 hrs per week.

The role-holder will primarily contribute to planning, teaching, and assessment of the Early Years and SEND-related curriculum in the primary PGCE programme, BA Education, and MA Education: Social Justice in Education. Additionally, depending on qualifications and experience, they may also be expected to assist in supervising PhD students.

About the Candidate

You will have a master's degree or above in education or a cognate discipline and recent and relevant experience (last three years) of successful teaching and curriculum development in the Early Years, as well as experience teaching children with SENDs. You will also have a proven track record of working cooperatively with colleagues in diverse and inclusive contexts.
