Lecturer in English & Communication
The Social Science and Integrated Curriculum Services team requires a flexible and energetic lecturer to teach English and Communication from SCQF Level 4 to SCQF Level 7 on a range of courses including Higher, National 5, HNC, NC and entry level programmes.
Educated to SCQF Level 9 or equivalent with a relevant teaching qualification. Current experience of teaching English and Communication in an FE setting is essential as is up to date knowledge of SQA subject specific requirements.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate creative approaches to teaching, a willingness to share practice and contribute to the development of resources.
The successful candidate will be required to work between our Sighthill Campus and Midlothian Campus, with attendance at any Campus should the need arise.
