Lecturer in English & Drama

Cadbury College is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in English & Drama to join our vibrant and forward-thinking learning community. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate educator to inspire students and play a key role in expanding our creative curriculum.

In this role, you will teach A-Level English and Drama, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that motivate students and help them develop their skills. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality teaching, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support their development. Collaboration with colleagues and the wider college community will be essential in fostering a culture of academic excellence and creativity.

We are seeking a candidate with previous experience of teaching A-Level English and a strong academic background in the subject. A recognised teaching qualification at Level 5 or above is essential. A passion for Drama education and the ability to use innovative teaching methods to engage students will be highly valued.

Teaching Qualifications & Salary Banding

To be eligible for our Qualified Lecturer salary banding (£30,583 - £46,263), you must hold one of the following teaching qualifications:

If you do not hold one of the above qualifications, you will fall into our Unqualified Lecturer salary banding (£25,611 - £28,817).
