Gi Group Recruitment are now seeking to appoint a Lecturer in English to our client based in Rotherham and Wath-upon-Dearne. The Lecturer in English is responsible for delivering on A Level, GCSE English and Functional Skills Literacy to full time students and adults. They will work in well-equipped onsite classrooms and online though our virtual learning environment, using Google Classroom.
Duties of the Lecturer in English
- Teach and assess on a range of courses and learning programmes, appropriate to relevant skills and qualifications. Undertake all necessary planning, preparation and assessment to ensure excellent teaching and learning occurs.
- Undertake the necessary administrative tasks associated with the role, which include learner registration, attendance, record keeping, tracking, reporting and liaising with parents and guardians.
- Meet normal demands of the academic calendar, including the production of schemes of working and planning for lessons.
