The Role:


The successful candidate is expected:


  • To teach Finance related modules from mid-September to mid-December 2025 (Total: 40.5 hours over the semester):
  • Private Debt Markets (Postgraduate, Level 7) – Private Equity and Investment Banking Programme | 12 hours

  • Corporate Restructuring (Postgraduate, Level 7) – Private Equity and Investment Banking Programme + Corporate Finance and Private Equity Programme | 16.5 hours in total

  • Real Estate, Infrastructure & Renewable Financing (Postgraduate, Level 7) – Corporate Finance and Private Equity Programme | 12 hours

  • To design the module handbooks (a template will be provided) and all teaching -related content.
  • To design and mark all assessments, providing constructive written feedback.
  • To attend induction & core meetings.
  • To monitor, evaluate, and assess individual student progress and achievement.
  • To monitor students' attendance and maintain records.
  • To deliver inclusive and high-quality teaching.
  • To fully participate in the quality assurance and improvement processes and procedures.


Person Specification:


Essential:

  • Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK
  • Master's in a relevant field or relevant professional experience
  • Ability to provide excellent, personalised support & feedback to students
  • Excellent level of written and spoken English
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent ability with Microsoft package and VLE


Desirable:


  • Significant Management or Leadership experience within the field taught
  • Qualification in HE Teaching e.g. PG Cert in Learning & Teaching
  • Fellowship of Advance HE


Salary & Benefits:


  • From £80/h depending on qualification and experience.
  • Potential funding for Advance HE Fellowship application.
  • In-house training.
