Youll have a broad academic remit including teaching, supporting students and scholarly activities across both the undergraduate and postgraduate curricula.
Main duties of the job
Youll have a broad academic remit including teaching, supporting students and scholarly activities across both the undergraduate and postgraduate curricula.
Youll teach students from other healthcare professions, and we are particularly interested in speaking with people who have worked in an integrated way in practice.
You must have current NMC registration (mental health), evidence of on-going professional development and be able to demonstrate study at an advanced level.
You will also have well-developed and current knowledge and understanding of critical, practical and theoretical issues relevant to Mental Health Nursing.
Expertise and experience in one or more of the following is desirable: psychological therapies, forensic nursing, physical health care or young persons mental health.

Role purpose
To teach and support students by taking a learner-centred approach in line with the Universitys learning, teaching and assessment strategy.
To contribute to curriculum development and delivery, research and other forms of scholarly activity as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
