We are inviting applications for a full-time Lecturer in Science, specialising in Physics, at our Harrow campus. This role involves teaching across a variety of courses including A Level, BTEC Science, GCSE, Access to HE, and T Levels. The successful candidate will join a thriving team committed to excellence in science education.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Teach Physics across different levels and courses such as A Level, BTEC, GCSE, Access to HE, and T Levels.
  • Engage and inspire students aged 16-18 through effective teaching strategies tailored to this age group.
  • Prepare, plan, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on students’ progress and achievements.
  • Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure content is up-to-date and relevant.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student learning experiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A degree in Science, with a specialisation in Physics.
  • Experience teaching Physics up to Level 3, including A Level, T Levels, and/or BTEC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage and motivate young learners.
  • Either already possess or be willing to achieve a Level 5 teaching qualification, which the College will support financially.
