Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Travel & Tourism Lecturer to join our team at [FE College Name] in Preston on a part-time, temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire and guide our students in their pursuit of knowledge in the travel and tourism sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching to Level 2 and Level 3 Travel & Tourism students.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments aligned with the curriculum.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive educational approach.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant content into lessons.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience teaching Travel & Tourism at Level 2 and Level 3.
  • Relevant qualifications in Travel & Tourism or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of diverse backgrounds.

Requirements:

  • A valid Enhanced DBS check on the update service.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
