Lecturer in Veterinary Nursing

HE Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (£38, - £56, pa pro rata)

This post is for a a fixed term of 12 months 

About the Role

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Veterinary Nursing with the knowledge and ability to deliver veterinary nursing topics such as applied medical nursing, surgical nursing and theatre practice to students at different levels of study. You'll have detailed knowledge and expertise in emergency and critical care; previous experience working within a small veterinary practice is essential. 

You will be passionate about teaching, possessing excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver high quality teaching and learning to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. You will be devising innovative teaching and assessments, seminars and tutorials and you will supervise UG and PG students in their research projects.

You will ideally have experience in the HE sector and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate ideas of a complex or technical nature to students effectively using a variety of teaching methods.
