About the Role
HSDC is seeking a Lecturer/Teacher of Early Years to ensure outstanding success and progression through the delivery of inspirational teaching, learning and assessment.

The ideal post holder will have the skills, knowledge and experience to support the delivery of the T Level in Education and Early Years. Ideally the post holder will have experience of primary school teaching within the EYFS and be able to teach topics such as Childhood Development, Education Key Stages, Psychology, Sociology and Child Speech & Language alongside observing and assessing teacher standards.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
  • Planning effectively and delivering high quality teaching, learning, assessment and support, leading to excellent attendance, retention and achievement.
  • To deliver formal scheduled teaching duties, tutorials (as appropriate) and student assessment.
  • To record, share and regularly monitor student progress using College information systems.
  • To prepare learning plans schemes of work, keep relevant records and undertake all administration relevant to teaching duties.
  • To attend parents’ evenings, marketing and promotional events.
Requirements
You will need:
  • Level 5 or equivalent Teaching Qualification such as Certificate in Education or PGCE or willingness to work towards this.
  • High level of specialist knowledge of the subject area
  • At least 2 years’ experience in teaching the subject area to full-time or part-time students (Desirable).
  • Degree in relevant subject (Desirable)
