Meridian Business Support are working on behalf of a state-of-the-art College based in the Manchester area. They require an experienced Lecturer of Engineering as soon as possible to deliver stimulating and passionate lessons to cover a period of sickness.

Role: Lecturer of Engineering

Salary: £35 per hour

Location: Manchester

Start date: ASAP

Term: 8 weeks work

Hours: 25 hours a week, Monday to Friday

The Role

• The College has an innovative vision in delivering high quality education to a wide range of learners.
• The post-holder will be expected to deliver and teach OCR & AME engineering.
• This will involve supporting the College's learners in achieving their academic goals and career progression by delivering high quality lessons, and ensuring high student attendance and satisfaction.

Main Duties

• To teach OCR & AME engineering to their students.
• Must have experience of teaching BTEC advanced manufacturing engineering and preferably a teaching qualification.

Ideal Candidates

• To deliver and teach OCR & AME Engineering to their students, previous experience.
• Experience delivering OCR & AME Engineering to students in a college or similar educational establishment.
• Teaching qualification.
• Must have experience of teaching BTEC advanced manufacturing engineering.
• A DBS on the update service or be willing to have a new one processed.
• Looking to inspire and make a difference to students' future careers.
