Lecturer of Mathematics
Lecturer - Mathematics (Romford, East London)
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lecturer in Mathematics for a temporary assignment of up to 3 months at and FE College in Romford.
Location: Romford, East London
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality Mathematics lessons to GCSE students.
- Developing engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Encouraging and motivating students to achieve their full potential.
- Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to curriculum development.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Qualified teacher (PGCE, QTS, or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training).
- Holds a Level 5 subject specialism in Maths or equivalent.
- Recent relevant experience in teaching Maths to GCSE students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and engage students.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working in a Further Education (FE) College setting.
- Experience working in an educational establishment.
- Familiarity with current educational practices and methodologies.
Working Hours:
- Teaching: 23 hours per week
- Timetable and working days to be confirmed.
Start Date: ASAP
Interview Details:
- Initial Teams interview (up to 30 minutes) with the hiring manager.
- Successful candidates will be invited for a face-to-face interview at the campus.
