Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Accounting (Teaching and Research) (3 posts available)
The Accounting and Finance Division at AMBS is seeking to appoint highly qualified individuals for the position of Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor / Associate Professor) in Accounting. We welcome applications from candidates undertaking research in any area of accounting and using any theoretical and methodological approaches.
The successful candidate is expected to pursue high quality academic research leading to publications in world-leading journals in accounting and related fields; contribute to the teaching excellence of accounting courses across various levels; actively engage in the activities of the Division and beyond, including the supervision of doctoral students. The post offers a competitive salary, a reasonable teaching load and generous research support with a significant reduction in teaching and administration work given for the first years of probation for a lecturer position.

ABOUT THE DIVISION OF ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE: We are one of the largest accounting and finance units in Europe and the world, with an outstanding track record of excellence in research and teaching.
Our accounting subject group has considerable strengths in both qualitative and quantitative research across core areas such as auditing, financial reporting, and management accounting, with faculty members publishing in top tier accounting journals on the Financial Times Top 50 list. Our faculty members also hold editorial positions various high quality journals affiliated with leading accounting academic associations in Europe, UK, and US.
We offer a wide range of specialist degree programmes in both undergraduate and postgraduate level. These include undergraduate degree programs in partnership with PricewaterhouseCoopers and endorsed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). We also contribute to MBA and executive education programmes.
