About the role

UCL wishes to appoint a Lecturer (Teaching) in Infrastructure, Economics and International Development. The role will be based at The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction at the Bartlett Faculty a world-leading faculty ranked #1 in the world for Built Environment studies and #1 in the UK for its research environment. 

The post holder will engage in teaching activities for the MSc in Infrastructure, Investment and Finance and other relevant programmes. The post holder will be encouraged to contribute towards provision of an engaging and practice-informed learning environment, aimed at improving students’ experience, and proactively contribute to the further advancement of learning and teaching in the School.

This is a fixed-term contract to until 31 August in the first instance.

About you

The post holder(s) must be knowledgeable (both generally and in any specific area) about the infrastructure, economics and finance and international development, and passionate and enthusiastic about teaching. They will prepare and deliver appropriate teaching material, including regular tutorials and seminars.

The appointee is required to have a PhD or equivalent relevant to infrastructure, economics and international development and/or related discipline. They will have an established track record of teaching at PGT and undergraduate level.

They will also have experience and impact of providing pastoral support to students. The successful candidate will be able to work harmoniously with staff and students of all cultures and backgrounds and possess excellent stakeholder liaison and/or public engagement skills.
