About the role

The main purpose of this job is to support the organisation and delivery of teaching across the UG and PG programmes in Sports Medicine at UCL. This post will be focused predominantly on the MSc programme in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health but will include some teaching and assessment on the UG programmes as well.

The post-holder will help to drive a high standard of clinical education for multi-professional students within the UCL Connected Curriculum framework. Teaching takes place on campus and online through a variety of formats including lectures, tutorials, practical, small group seminars and webinars. The post-holder will support students, colleagues, and programme leads to foster and maintain a collaborative teaching and learning environment that stimulates interest, enhances understanding, and generates enthusiasm in students on the UG and PG courses.

This is a full-time post at 1 FTE ( hours) per week, maternity cover for 12 months in the first instance.

About you

The post holder must have a Physiotherapy degree.
The post holder must also have a current registration with HCPC, or eligibility to register.
Higher degree MSc, MD or PhD (or in final stages of preparation), or evidence of an equivalent level of attainment in research publications.
Extensive experience in the field of Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health.
Relevant teaching qualification or Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) would be advantageous.
