You will be apply cutting-edge machine learning techniques, solving complex problems in the medical/pharmaceutical research field.
Responsibilities
- Apply machine learning to solve complex problems
- Collaborate with a variety of scientific and engineering teams
- Develop software tools for internal and external use
- Communicate research findings effectively
- Work independently and collaboratively
Examples of Projects
- Analysing data from new systems
- Developing algorithms that produce insights impossible to reach through traditional methods.
- Designing tools for a variety of applications
- Using advanced techniques for real-world problems
Your Qualifications
- Most likely, but not exclusively a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant field (e.g. Physics, Computer Science).
- Excellent knowledge of applied statistics and data manipulation
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Ability to grasp complex problems and work independently
What Makes You Stand Out
- Expertise in cutting-edge machine learning techniques
- Strong software engineering and prototyping skills
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience in a related field (e.g. molecular biology, protein modelling) is a plus
