Job Title: Mandarin / English Part-time PhD Tutor (Studying HRM is preferred) – Remote

Contract Type: Casual / Self-employed

Working Hours: Up to 20 hours per week

Location: Remote

Salary: £15 - £80 per hour dependent upon assignment

Overall Purpose of the Job:

Provide one-to-one research proposal tutorial, guiding students to complete their research proposals/essays at PhD level

The key tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Giving advice and suggestions on research topic.
  • Coaching and supporting students on research proposals/academic essays.
  • Assisting with the preparation of reading lists and other materials.
  • Acting as a Personal Tutor (providing personalised academic advice to students).

    • Required Knowledge, Skills and Experiences

  • You must be studying towards a PhD degree as a Year 2 student or above; or be a lecturer. (Preferably studying / PhD in Human Reource Management related subjects)
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Sufficient knowledge of the discipline/topics under discussion.
  • Understanding of the basic principles of teaching.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written Mandarin Chinese is essential for this role.
