CK Group are recruiting for a Microbiology Researcherto join a global FMCG business at their new research anddevelopment site based in Reading, on an initial 6 month contract.

Our client is a globalbusiness who develop and manufacture fast moving consumer goods fordomestic and commercial uses.
Location:
Thisrole will be located at the company's new R&D facility locatedin Reading.
TheRole:
You will be responsiblefor:
- To be trained in the of ods,operation of relevant equipment, sample preparation, ysis and datahandling.
- To help develop novel ods to enablecurrent and future material screening vs a wide variety oforganisms.
- To execute a defined testingprogram.
- To generate robust data for thescreening of material libraries, creating and maintainingappropriate data libraries and comparison to previous materiallibraries.
- To partake in critical daily qualityprocedures within the laboratory, ensuring it is fit for use by allmembers.
YourBackground:
The ideal candidatefor this role will have:
- Degree levelqualification (BSc- or equivalent) in Microbiology, Bioytical, or aclosely related discipline, with a proven lab focus and qualitydata generation.
- Computer literacy is requiredfor standard Microsoft packages.
- Criticalthinking & problem-solving ss, primarily in the and design oflaboratory experiments would be advantageous using currentscientific od.
