Musical Theatre Lecturer
Job description
Hourly paid contract of employment 6 hours x 1 day per week
The Performing Arts department are seeking a skilled Singing Tutor to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vocal pedagogy and a deep understanding of vocal anatomy, vocal techniques and their impact on singing.
You should have proven experience as a singing tutor or vocal coach, be proficient in music theory, including scales and harmony and have the ability to assess and correct pitch and tone in learner singing.
You will plan and deliver sessions that encourage vocal growth and confidence in acting through song.
A background in Musical Theatre is preferred
All staff are required to undergo a DBS check and EWC registration prior to the commencement of duties.
