Department Overview The Language program, a core science initiative, aims to utilize advanced NLP and ML technologies to automatically generate structured product catalogs from unstructured product titles, descriptions, and images. We seek to enhance our language understanding capabilities by incorporating weakly supervised, semi-supervised, and unsupervised techniques, as well as signals from non-traditional sources like customer behavior data. Our objective is to create a well-organized product catalog that leverages these advanced technologies and methodologies. We are looking for highly motivated research scientists with a robust background in NLP to join and contribute to the success of the Language program.
