Job Summary
The School of Health is offering an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced and qualified professional to join our team of lecturers who provide high-quality education to both pre-registration students and post-registration healthcare professionals. As a lecturer in School Nursing, you will join an experienced and motivated team of academics, providing support for teaching and learning across the School’s portfolio with a focus on our post-registration School Nursing/Health Visiting (SCPHN) routes within the MSc Advanced Practice programme which supports students from throughout Scotland and beyond. There are also opportunities to undertake applied health research in health and social care policy, education and clinical practice which impacts on the health and wellbeing of people, families and communities. As well as this, our lecturers develop and use a range of skills to support students as a personal tutor as well as engaging in partnership with other academics, practice provider partners and people and communities
The School of Health is a vibrant academic community and the main provider of nursing education in the Northeast of Scotland. The School is housed in a state of the art building designed to simulate both clinical and community settings providing a stimulating learning environment.
