Part-time Variable Lecturer - Computing and Creative Media
Rate of Pay: £22.07 - £26.57 per hour plus preparation and marking allowance and holiday pay (Dependant on experience)
Campus:
Gardyne (Some travel to Arbroath Campus may be required)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, adaptable, and organised individual to join our highly qualified, professional Computing team as a Part-time variable Lecturer. 

Applicants should be educated to Degree level in a relevant Computing subject such as software development, web development, games development or Cyber Security. The role will require knowledge of programming. Teaching experience and knowledge of current national developments in Computing will be advantageous as would experience from industry. This post may suit someone working industry who has flexibility and the spark to teach their skills and inspire students into careers in technology.

The successful applicant will teach on computing courses at levels from SCQF level 5 (National 5) to SCQF level 8 (HND) and potentially teach our evening leisure provision. The role will involve planning, development, and delivery of high-quality learning and teaching, assessment, and student feedback. 

This position is in a dynamic department, committed to developing learners and addressing the skills shortage in industry.

If successful Dundee and Angus College will help you to gain registration with the General Teaching Council Scotland (GTCS). The College will work with you and support you to achieve the qualifications and professional learning required for registration, you must be willing to undertake any training and development necessary to gain registration.
