Westminster Business School is recruiting visiting lecturers to provide specialist teaching on our range of Construction, Property, Project Management and Digital Business courses. Main duties include teaching, the regular preparation, marking/double marking, checking for plagiarism and commenting upon students’ module coursework and learning activities, and the setting and marking of exam papers. The posts are predominantly based on our Marylebone campus and will require on-campus attendance, usually two or more days a week during teaching time.

These posts sit within the School of Applied Management, part of Westminster Business School. You will become part of a community of around 60 academic staff and 1,400 students with a shared focus on operations management, project management and digital business in an international context. You will be based at the University’s Marylebone site, opposite Baker Street Station, centrally located and immersed in London’s business community.

This is an exciting time to join us as we extend our portfolio of courses and research activity. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in the following area:

  1. Quantity Surveying

We particularly welcome applications from candidates with experience and enthusiasm for technology-enhanced learning practices. Successful candidates will also benefit from our in-house bespoke online teaching training programme. If you are an industry practitioner, then this is an opportunity for you to use your extensive knowledge and experience in an academic career.

You will be expected to work closely with Course Leaders, Module Leaders, and other members of the course team. You will contribute to the development of teaching materials, methods, and assessments as well as leading modules yourself. Duties will include marking and giving feedback, acting as a personal tutor and mentor, and providing pastoral support to students.

You will hold a degree and a postgraduate qualification in a relevant area, have teaching experience and a recognized or commitment towards achieving a teaching qualification or HEA/Advanced HE Fellowship.
