Have you got proven experience in design with plastic materials?
MacGregor Black are partnering with a Leading Consumer Goods Business on the search for a Postgraduate Design Engineer. This is a perm role based in Hinckley.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop sustainable products, parts and solutions that meet the needs of the business, customers and the environment.
- Carry out validation testing and development of products
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments and incorporate them into our product design and development processes.
- Ensure products are designed and developed to meet regulatory standards and performance levels specified for safety, function and reliability
- Produce full manufacturing specifications, including drawings and engineering BOM’s
- Ensure design solutions are within the financial and functional parameters
- Perform any other duties appropriate to the role
What are we looking for?
- Apprentice trained/Beng/HNC in mechanical engineering
- Experienced with CAD - SolidWorks
- Experienced with designing plastic materials
- Recent grad/junior design engineer is preferable
Mon-Fri.
Salary negotiable DOE.
