Position: Lecturer in Public Services
Location: Romford, East London
Job Description:
Protocol are working with an FE College based in Romford who are seeking a qualified and experienced Lecturer in Public Services to join their team in Romford. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Qualified teacher with one of the following: PGCE, QTS, or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching BTEC Sport and Protective Services.
- Teaching qualification such as Cert Ed or PGCE.
- Industry experience in Sport.
- Understanding and experience of quality processes related to sampling and internal verification.
- IQA qualifications and Assessors Award.
- Experience in organizing and supervising residentials and overnight stays for delivering units, such as outdoor activities.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working in a Further Education (FE) College setting.
- Experience working in an educational establishment.
Working Hours:
- 14.4 hours of teaching per week.
- 1 hour of administrative duties per week.
- Timetable to be confirmed.
Start Date:
- Immediate start to cover a vacancy for a leaver. Assignment end date to be confirmed.
Interview Details:
- Face-to-face interviews will be conducted as soon as possible at Rush Green Campus.
