Mission

As R&D Engineer in Physic and Chemistry, among a team of other engineers and directly reporting to the Chief Scientific Officer, you will be in charge for the first years of a specific project aiming to harvest low grade waste heat  using our own technological bricks complemented with some innovative chemical and physical concepts. For this you will be involved in but not limited to :

  • Conducting active research in membrane and electrode surface chemistry and electrochemistry

  • Compiling and analysing test information to determine process or equipment operating efficiency or to diagnose malfunctions.

  • Analysing organic or inorganic compounds to determine chemical or physical properties, composition, structure, relationships, or reactions.

  • Conferring with your team to conduct experiments, interpret test results, or develop nonstandard tests.

  • Developing, improving, or customizing products, equipment, formulas, processes, or analytical methods.

  • Writing technical papers or reports or prepare standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products, or tests.

  • Studying effects of various methods on your researches.

Profile

Graduated from a PhD in Chemistry or Electro-chemistry, you are in the right place if :

  • After a first proven position in applied R&D, you are open to a second experience within a dynamic environment

  • You have a strong knowledge in at least one of the following fields : fuel cell, batteries, and energy storage systems (redox flow), etc

  • You have a good back-ground in thermodynamic heat balance, ionic liquids will be a real plus

  • You are passionate about renewable energy, with a willingness to build a cleaner future and to combat climate change

  • You are a strong team player. You learn from your mistakes and you’re convinced that failures are a good way to move forward in your researches. You are hands-on, creative and visionary

  • Language : You are fluent in English / You are able to converse in French

  • You’re not afraid of project management and are an all-rounder

  • You enjoy exploring the unexplored and thrive in working in a truly collaborative manner in a multicultural environment

  • You are optimistic and have a passion for challenger – we aim at something ambitious here !

  • You are pragmatic and always focus on feasible and competitive solutions
