Permanent contract, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
To work with the Apprenticeship and Curriculum Managers to deliver a high-quality Refrigeration and Air Conditioning curriculum including classroom/workshop, theory and practical teaching. This role will include onsite (employer based) assessments and reviews of apprentices, that meets with Bath College quality expectations

Key Responsibilities
- To deliver high standards of teaching and learning and to monitor assessment processes in accordance with examination requirements.
- To deliver up to Level 3 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning standards and programmes using appropriate teaching methods.
- Producing schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment plans, learning materials and any other related activities that impact on the effectiveness of learning.
- Plan and deliver specialist sessions in acting using appropriate teaching methods whilst embedding the promotion of diversity within the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning industry and the College.
- To co-ordinate and maintain records of formative and summative assessments of students’ learning carried out by the course team.
- To work pro-actively to forward the success and vision of the department.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Level 2 (e.g. GCSE) English and Maths at Grade B or above
- Qualified to Level 3, or equivalent, in a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning discipline.
- TAQA Assessor Award (or willing to work towards)
- L5 Teaching Qualification (or willing to work towards)
