Research Assistant for Matcelerate Zero manufacturing project
About the role
The main duties of the role will include: Taking a lead on the manufacture of nanomaterial coated membranes Using techniques such as optical microscopy and atomic force microscopy, characterise the films deposited on the membranes. Supporting research on the electrochemical testing of the manufactured membranes in fuel cells and electrolysers Contributing to the optimisation of the nanomaterial coated membranes Collaborating with project partners, attend meetings, and document project progress.
The salary is £35,–£41,.
This is a fixed-term role until 28th February in the first instance.

About you
The ideal candidate will have extensive and hands-on experience of the deposition of a variety of materials using ultrasonic spray printing for application in energy devices.
