The Faculty of English Language and Literature, seeks to appoint a Research Assistant to work one day per week (0.2 FTE) providing research support for Prof. Francis Leneghan’s AHRC-funded Research, Development and Engagement project, ‘Writing Pre-Conquest England: A New History of Old English Prose’. About You You will hold a first degree, together with some relevant experience, working toward or having completed a doctorate in Old English. You will possess sufficient specialist knowledge in Old English to work within established research programmes, have the ability to manage own research and administrative activities, excellent communication skills, including the ability to write text that can be published, present data at conferences, and represent the research group at meetings.
