Research Assistant in Cellular Immunotherapy
About the role
The major focus of the Cellular Therapy group at the UCL Cancer Institute is manipulation of T cells for therapeutic application. The purpose of this position is to assist in development of novel engineering approaches to enhance CAR-T efficiacy and safety, and to support an upcoming clinical trial of anti-CCR9 CAR-T cells in T cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
This position is funded until 31st May in the first instance.
Salary for this position is on grade 6B £38, - £41, per annum including London Allowance.

About you
Successful candidates must have BSc in relevant field and must have practical lab experience (molecular biology/ tissue culture/ in vivo work).
An MSc in a relevant field will be desirable but not essential.
The successful candidate must have a good aptitude for team-working and must be able to keep notes with precision.
