About the role

The post holder will work with Mark Pelling and the Tomorrow’s Cities community to facilitate uptake of UCL funded research by UN-Habitat. The post holder will lead on day-to- day management and logistics including for a workshop in Naiorbi, develop and deploy interviews with UN-Habitat staff to refine elements of UCL tools to make them ready for uptake and write-up findings including for external communication.

About you

- Review UN-Habitat programing and policy for risk sensitive urban planning leading to a workplan for UCL science uptake to enable use.- Interview UN-Habitat staff and client cities/countries as requires to augment and update the policy review and workplan.- Work with UN-Habitata colleagues to plan and help host a workshop in Nairobi for knowledge transfer on UCL science.- Lead on the writing of a forward facing workplan with UN-Habitata for follow-on activity.- Take responsibility for day-to-day management of activities and logistics planning, as needed.- Report to mark Pelling once a week.
