Research Assistant in Youth Sport Psychology

Grade F £28,-31, per annum (pro rata)

Fixed Term Contract: 15 hours per week for 6 months

About the Role

Working with Professor Chris Harwood and staff in NTU's Sport and Performance Psychology Research Group, the post holder will be responsible for working on projects focused on supporting the development of youth athletes.

A key project for this part time post will be supporting the delivery, data collection and completion of a psychosocial intervention research project with youth tennis players and their families. 

Knowledge and application of research methods at postgraduate level in sport psychology is essential, alongside an understanding and experience of youth sport-related theories and contexts. Applicants who are passionate and conscientious academics and who are HCPC registered sport psychologists or enrolled on the SEPAR or QSEP pathway are particularly encouraged to apply.
