Publicerad 2024-09-11

The role

A Research Associate is sought to perform cutting edge research into mechanisms underlying cardiac excitation-contraction coupling (ECC) and its regulation. The project aims to clarify how inositol trisphosphate and its upstream activators regulate ECC, with particular focus on local control. The project is funded for 5 years.

You will also be expected to read and contextualise relevant literature, contribute to manuscript preparation and disseminate results at scientific meetings. General duties will also include contribution to laboratory maintenance, purchasing and contribution to an inclusive, supportive and communicative work environment.

You should apply if

You are passionate about biological research and have proven skills in critical thinking and problem-solving.
