Research Associate in Ultrafast Spectroscopy of Processible Electronic Materials
You will join an interdisciplinary team dedicated to developing novel spectroscopic techniques that integrate ultrafast vibrational and electronic spectroscopy. These advanced methods will be employed to characterize vibronic states in processable electronic devices under operando conditions. The research will primarily focus on material engineering, nanoscopy, and the optimization of optoelectronic device performance.
You will lead the development of new spectroscopic methods, combining electron-vibrational spectroscopy, such as VIPER, with innovative concepts from multidimensional spectroscopy, microscopy, and scanning tunneling probe techniques. Additionally, you will be involved in the day-to-day supervision of graduate and undergraduate students, building and maintaining external collaborations, and advancing related spectroscopic research projects.
We are seeking a candidate passionate about developing new spectroscopic methods. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ultrafast spectroscopy, with additional experience in multidimensional spectroscopy, vibrational spectroscopy, or microscopy. Expertise in electrical engineering or the photophysics of optoelectronic materials and devices will be considered a valuable asset.
