Research Associate/ Senior Research Associate in Molecular Cell Biology and Correlative Imaging
The role
Correlative Light Electron Microscopy (CLEM) combines the advantages of light and electron microscopy in one experimental workflow. Critical tools for CLEM are the markers used.
We aim to generate a probe that will be directly visible both in the light and electron microscope. For this project the Verkade research group in the School of Biochemistry is looking for a Molecular Cell Biologist / Microscopist.
The position of the (Senior) Research Associate will fill a critical role in delivering the aims of a BBSRC Technology Development grant in collaboration with the Borri research group at the University of Cardiff.
Close collaboration and communication between and with the Verkade and Borri groups will be an essential part of the role and will be an exciting opportunity to learn state of the art imaging techniques.
