Research Manager (Analytics)

To do this we have gathered an amazing team of engineers and researchers. We are now looking for a Research Manager to focus predominantly on our analytics capabilities. This role will be key in pushing the boundaries of what we do and how we close the knowledge gap!
What you’ll be doing
This role has the opportunity to really propel the analytics capabilities of the team. You will get to lead our industry-leading modelling for a variety of projects across different industries. You will do this by:
Owning the analytics workstreams for major research projects including segmentation analysis, factor reduction, multi-level regression modelling.
Setting best-practice and standards, processes for analytics including segmentation.
Automate common analytical tasks particularly for trackers and long-running client projects.
Independently running end-to-end research and insight projects (primarily quant but also qual and mixed methods).
Contributing to and owning RFPs and other proposals.
Who you are: skills and experience
Essential
3+ years analytics and/or research experience using survey data.
Experience in personally running different types of statistical analyses, including factor reduction techniques, multi-level/mixed-effect regression (linear and logistic at a minimum), and segmentation/cluster analysis.
Ability to run exploratory data analysis, enjoys using creative ways of looking for patterns and nuggets hidden in the data.
Deep experience working with survey data, including wrangling, merging, cleaning and weighting. Ideal candidate will also have worked with publicly available datasets (e.g., census or other ONS data).
Strong proficiency in R or Python for data analysis and data visualisation.
Nice to have
The ideal candidate has experience in using both frequentist and Bayesian approaches.
Understanding of the full market research project life cycle.
