The Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Research Manager to join our team. As a Research Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing podcast host with in-depth, industry-leading, innovative research briefings that enable the best possible podcast recording and conversation, no matter what the genre, topic or guest is for that episode 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Define research objectives and develop research plans and strategies
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of research projects
  • Ensure that research projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with established protocols
  • Produce evidence-based briefings using papers, reports and general knowledge
  • Support research team with other tasks including podcast descriptions, name tests, guest pitches.
  • Conduct literature reviews, gather data, and analyse research findings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of research findings

  • Have a strong awareness of AI and the ways in which it can elevate your professional performance

Requirements

Must Haves 

  • Extensive proven experience in a research based or investigative research style role 
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret large amounts of evidence and data and distil into key insights for that will engage the widest audience possible through the lens of the podcast host 
  • Understands how the right data at people's fingertips gives everyone a firm foundation for success in conveying a compelling story and creating an impactful conversation 
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and findings in a clear and concise manner to multiple teams including a high profile host of a podcast 
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience mentoring and developing junior team members
  • Exceptional commitment to organisation and organisational tools and software to ensure working priorities are tightly managed 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively, which can regularly require working outside of standard hours to hit deadlines and work sprints for international recording schedules 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate ideas and concepts.
