We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Manager to join our Customer Development Team to assist in delivering a market research and evaluation programme that informs and supports the delivery of our Customer Strategy.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Liaising with key stakeholders to define research requirements and prepare a written brief
  • Designing research solutions that are fit for purpose and represent good value for money
  • Procurement and management of third-party expertise including the specification and management of the research supplier roster
  • Ongoing management of established research programmes including brand and broker tracking
  • Independently run ad-hoc projects to industry standards
  • Managing a regular programme of research that reviews and evaluates literature to ensure relevant pieces of communication adhere to Consumer Duty requirements
  • Manage, support and coach more junior members of the team as needed


What we are looking for:


  • A strong demonstration of experience in research preferable agency or client-side
  • Degree level education in a related social science or quantitative discipline
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain collaborative working relationships internally externally
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Working knowledge of analytics software and the use of customer data
  • Excellent influencing and negotiating skills
  • Understanding of customer feedback metrics
  • Support the Member Pulse programme of activity across Principality
  • Collate multiple insight sources including category and trends analysis into impactful summaries
  • Stakeholder management
