Role mission:
This role will be responsible for researching and translating legal and regulatory content into Bhutanese language, Dzongkha.
Responsibilities:
- Review and edit translations of laws, legal documents, and/or any other documents from to Dzongkha English
- Use the CUBE platform to Match sections of laws to sections in CUBE.
- Conduct legal research using official sources from Dzongkha jurisdiction/s and language/s
- Conduct ad hoc/assigned research in Dzongkha
What we’re looking for:
- Fluent translating and writing skills in Bhutanese language, Dzongkha
- Good research skills with an ability to analyse and interpret complex information.
- Written and spoken English(UK) is a necessity
- Ability to write clearly and concisely
- Good knowledge of office applications including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint, and ability to work with electronic research resources.
- Ability to observe strict confidentiality.
- Proven team skills
