The company

We are looking for self-motivated and engaging individuals to join our successful Software-as-a-Service company of 42 people. You’ll be part of an employee-owned and led organisation full of kind and conscientious colleagues, working together to make a real difference to the NHS.

Our services are used in 70% of acute NHS hospitals and by 42,000 clinicians worldwide. Rotamap is dedicated to designing innovative software to help clinical groups communicate, collaborate and report more effectively. To find out more about us, have a look at our website: rotamap.net/history

At Rotamap we work in self-managed, non-hierarchical and multi-disciplinary teams. We are empowered to drive change across all areas of the company and have a direct impact on how hospital departments work. Everyone has a shared responsibility in running the business, and as a result, shares in the profits.

The role

We offer a unique, multidisciplinary role, combining tech and client facing skills to provide a fantastic grounding in running a software company. The range of core skills required include:

Project management:

  • Plan, coordinate and report on the deployment of our software across all medical groups within a Trust.
  • Build outstanding client relationships and be able to engage and persuade stakeholders across the hierarchy of the NHS of the value of our systems.
  • Implement processes to improve the flow of information between departments and across hospitals.

Client management:

  • Lead the successful implementation of our software across NHS Trusts and other healthcare organisations.
  • Become an expert in our systems and at tailoring the product for individual clients’ needs.
  • Offer outstanding support and training to our clients over the phone, via web meetings and occasionally in-person.

Product ownership:

  • Design and improve the systems based on your user research, data and client experiences.
  • Work with our developers to understand the technical elements of your plan and build your coding skills.
  • Coordinate and manage your team's resources and priorities efficiently, considering wider company aims and projects.

Employees are encouraged to get involved with other elements of running the business. This could include supporting the teams working in marketing, sales, client facing events, mobile app development, international sales and development, data analysis and net zero strategy.
