Science Lecturer (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) - FE College – Permanent Contract – HillingdonPost Title: Science Lecturer (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)Contract type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £32,178 to £42,226 per annumStart Date: SeptemberLocation: HillingdonWe are seeking a full time Lecturer in Science, specialising in Biology, Chemistry or Physics, to join our successful team based in Hillingdon.

You would teach on a range of courses including A level, BTEC Science, GCSE, Access to HE, A Level and T Levels.You will possess a degree in science and the relevant teaching qualification resulting in QTLS and have successful teaching experience in the subject area up to and including Level 3 (A Level, T Levels and/or BTEC).

You should have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to engage and inspire young learners.Qualifications•

A degree in a Science subject•

Minimum Level 5 level teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (e.g. PGCE/DET)Knowledge and Experience•

Experience of teaching Science up to and including Level 3 (A Level and/or BTEC), specialising in Biology, Chemistry or Physics•

Good communication skills, written and verbal•

Track record of success in teaching and student achievement•

Good interpersonal skills•

Good classroom practice•

Experience of course leadership•

Ability to use IT / e-learning within the curriculum and ability to deliver teaching, learning and assessment online•

Good administration/organisational skills•

Experience of pastoral tutor role•
