Reference: 21503BSMS is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer or Reader in Public Health to complement the current research strengths in the Department of Primary Care & Public Health. Senior Lecturer is a senior career-grade teaching and research position. The postholder will be expected to provide a point of liaison between the academic department and regional Integrated Care Boards and/or local authorities, and ensure research is aligned to priorities and strategies for improving the health of the population. We especially welcome candidates with research interests in the areas of: health inequalities; population health and prevention; and the health of coastal communities. Post-holders are expected to show academic leadership in both teaching and research, and to support the management and strategic planning processes of the School and the University.
