Practice is looking for a

Senior Research Executive/Research Manager

with strong

qualitative

skills. In this role will be responsible for day-to-day project and client management for social research large scale surveys in the UK - project planning and research design, quality delivery, profitability management, as well as line-management duties for one or more junior researchers.

Purpose of the role:

To support the Verian UK business with research and project coordination. This includes responsibility for: the day-to-day running of projects (engaging with clients, coordinating the internal team and delivering to time) and conducting qualitative research tasks.

The role sits within our specialist policy team. A multidisciplinary research team, coupling methodological excellence with deep policy insight to deliver impactful and high-quality work to clients. Client include central government, regulators and the third sector.

Project and account managementGood client handling skills.Ability to work in a research team and manage small projects.Strong experience of managing of multiple tasks and priorities and delivering to time.Good understanding of project budgets and cost control.

Experienced qualitative researcher. Opportunity to work on mixed-method projectsTool design, including recruitment materials, topic guides and stimulus materials.Data collection, including depth interviews, group discussion and workshops (classical and digital). Expertise in other approaches such as deliberative, ethnography, evaluation an advantage.Qualitative analysis experience, including thematic framework analysis.Outputs – strong writing skills and PowerPoint design capabilities.Strong delivery/verbal presentation to clients.Keen interest in public policy. Specialist policy expertise an advantage.
