We are currently seeking Editorial Board Members for "The Open COVID Journal"


We are seeking experienced researchers and scientists to join us as Editorial Board Members for the journal, "The Open COVID Journal".


About the Role:

  • Actively contribute to the development and growth of the journal by providing valuable scholarly input, including the selection of topics, reviewers, and authors.


  • Contribute/solicit Special Thematic Issues on a trending topic (one thematic issue every year) or,


  • Submit review articles to the journal (at least twice a year) in your area of expertise.


Requirements:

  • Scientist or researcher (PhD) with experience in Virology, Infectious Diseases, research on Coronaviruses & COVID–19 pandemic, and related subject areas.
  • At least 5 years of experience in peer-reviewing, editing, and writing research papers.
  • Verifiable record of publications in peer-reviewed journals indexed in WOS Core Collection and/or Scopus.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and timely with stakeholders in the English language.

About the Journal:

The Open COVID Journal is an open access journal, that publishes original research articles, letters, reviews/mini-reviews, case studies, clinical trial, and guest-edited thematic issues on all aspects of coronaviruses such as their origins, types, their biology, transmission, pathogenesis, demographic, clinical and genomic characteristics. It will also cover the associated challenges for their treatment, control strategies and prevention of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).


The Open COVID Journal, a peer-reviewed journal, is an important and reliable source of current information on developments in the field. Emphasis is placed on publishing quality papers, making them freely available to researchers worldwide.
