About:

Teach and support students with learning disabilities, helping them achieve their educational goals.Lead the Preparation for Independence course, design lesson plans, and assess student progress.Teach Entry Level and Level 1 English and math, preparing students for functional skills exams.Identify and address student learning needs, including managing barriers like ADHD and ASC.Monitor and support the achievement of student EHCP targets and collaborate with mentors and specialists to ensure progress.Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals to track and support student development.Ideal Candidate:

Hold a Teaching Qualification IdeaHold a SpLD (or commitment to obtaining these).Have a strong background in supporting learning and teaching entry-level skills.Knowledge of learning difficulties, ability to differentiate teaching, and strong interpersonal skills.Attributes: Patient, adaptable, and team-oriented, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting equality and diversity.Have a DBS check or willing to get one doneTemp Benefits:
